Poor Concentration

When a person make a statement "I can't concentrate", it simply means that they cannot stay focused on one thing for as long as they would like to.

Most of us at sometime or another will experience these lapses of concentration every day but we are not ussually concerned about it, sometimes we dont even notice these lapses in concentration, they only start to become a problem when we find that we are not getting things done as quickly as we would like to, or if we are making mistakes.

People do not concentrate when they allow their environment to distract them, and/or their thoughts and feelings to interrupt them. If your thoughts are scattered; you find that your mind jumps from one thing to another.

So it makes sense to learn and to practise concentration strategies, which will enable you to harness your sparadic thought patterns, so that your mind works for you. If you know the causes of your poor concentration, you can learn to control these factors.
